Well, I have been in Europe for a week now and I feel like I've been here for a month. So much training, so much learning, so much disciple, but it has been amazing! Father has been really teaching me the depth of the phrase obedience over activity. As most of you know I am leading 4 wonderful girls and this phrase has become a huge alter for me. It would be easy for me to try and make this an enjoyable experience as best I can for them, but really I need to allow the girls to start using their own discernment (build their discernment muscles, if you will) and allowing Father to lead them instead of me planning some sort of experience for them.
This week our schedule has been very rigid. After breakfast we do teaching sessions all morning and then after lunch we head out for our work for the day. Lots of Plowing (PR walking) has happened this week so disciple in endurance has been big for lots of people.
We are headed to North Africa tomorrow and the 5 of us will be splitting off from the rest of the group for the next 3 weeks, so PR that the crazy-ness that is North Africa goes well. PR for my girls that they transition into the culture well and PR that I stay sane as the lone leader. I will be able to use the internet much more from now on, so you can expect more frequent updates from me.
I love you all very very much and I will have another update as soon as I get to Africa!

Katy, it was wonderful to hear from you! Things sound busy but I'm glad you're well and you're always in my thoughts and prayers. I've been pretty busy myself working on your new home in Lubbock, I can't wait for you to see what we've done with the place! haha! Talk to you (hopefully) soon! I love you! Mom
